Search the Library Guide and Historical Review indexes
Google will search our Library Guide and as many of the Schoharie County Historical Review indexes as we have on line. We have not yet integrated the search feature into the Premium Content section, which includes Review texts.
The actual records are not on line. Only the Library Guide list of holdings, a limited number of Historical Review issues, and Review contents and indices are on line. Review articles are Premium Content and require either membership or a subscription for access.
If you are doing genealogy, the search will tell you if we have any holdings on your family, but of course if an ancestor is merely mentioned in the records about some other family, your ancestor is probably not indexed.
You may visit the library to examine the cited document or inquire of the genealogist or library staff for assistance if you cannot visit. The library and genealogy department do not have e-mail service at this time and cannot be reached by e-mail.
